Eagle Hot Air Tarp Welder
Cautions - Incorrect tool use can cause a fire. Be sure to lay the tool on a fireproof surface when not in use. To avoid burns do not touch the heating element holder or nozzle while the tool is in use. The tool should be protected from damp or wet conditions. To ensure tool safety the carbon brushes should be checked and/or replaced after about 1600 hours of use.

Built in over temperature protection, protects the heating elements and electronics from thermal damage., Compact, light-weight unit fits comfortably in your hand and is available with a variety of nozzle tips to weld virtually any type of material. Double-insulated and ISO color coded for added electrical safety., Handheld hot air welder unit. This unit will lap weld soft thermoplastics without any additional materials other than the use of a silicone roller to provide the necessary pressure to weld. Particularly suited to welding of tarpaulins and single ply roofing material. The air temperature out of this unit infinitely adjustable from the ambient up to 625 degrees Celsius., The element is a quick change type, with no tools required.
Instructions - Make sure the voltage is the same as shown on the name plate. Turn the unit on using the rotary switch, set the unit to the desired heat output. It takes approximately 4 minutes for the tool to attain its full operating temperature. When Finished, cool the heating element down by turning the rotary switch to position 1. This action will extend the life of the heating element. After the unit has cooled down, turn the tool off.
Uses - Used for heat welding of PVC's and other materials.

We ship using couriers, Fed-ex, Purolator, Loomis, UPS, so no PO boxes please.
Shipping of multiple items will be charged on final weight of all products combined.
Samples of fabrics are available at $4.00 per sample. In our store, search samples and when you order, let us now the pattern name.
Local pick up is available with notice at warehouses in Vancouver, Toronto, and Indianapolis, if stock is available at that warehouse.
Returns - When a mistake has been made by Christies Fabrics the goods may be returned at no charge. In this case, a return authorization number is required and may be obtained through our Customer Service Center. Fabric may not be returned once it has been cut by the customer. Due to freight costs, we cannot accept returns on cuts of fabrics less than 5 yards, unless the problem was caused by Christies Fabrics, such as shipment of incorrect goods. There is a restocking fee for any goods returned for reasons other than an error on our part. Returns will not be accepted on goods older than 90 days from the date of purchase. Christies Fabrics is a customer service-oriented company. We will make every effort to correct any mistake we have made. Wherever possible, we will work with our customers to minimize the negative effects of a mistake.
There are no returns on our clear out fabric specials, please request a sample if not sure, colors make look different on Screen than in real life.
If you want to return an item, let us know and we will give you a return authorization number, and an address to ship to.
Return shipping would be paid by the purchaser unless there was a problem from our end.
Canadian customers pay all applicable taxes.
